We delivered full showcalling for the opening ceremony of Six Flags Qiddiya City, one of Saudi Arabia's most significant new entertainment destinations, calling the complete show live on 29 December 2025, including a headline performance by Alicia Keys.

The Brief
Evolution Events brought us in directly to take responsibility for showcalling across the entire Six Flags Qiddiya City Opening Ceremony. The production brought together live performance, technical production, visual effects and large-scale show elements within one tightly controlled running order. Our role was to connect what was planned on paper with what actually happened on stage and across the wider event environment, from the lead-up through to the live show itself.
Our Approach
We joined the production during stage installation and rehearsals, building a detailed understanding of the running order, the technical setup and the teams responsible for every part of the show.
On the night, our showcaller Dan called the complete ceremony start to finish. That meant keeping every department working to the same sequence, delivering cues at exactly the right moment, and holding a clear picture of the show as it unfolded, including the live concert performance by Alicia Keys.
At this scale, showcalling comes down to preparation, concise communication and staying calm when several things are happening at once. Throughout, our focus was giving every department the clarity it needed to deliver its part of the event.

Results
The ceremony officially opened Six Flags Qiddiya City, bringing immersive storytelling, live entertainment and large-scale technical production together for an audience of senior officials, stakeholders and media.
We supported Evolution Events through the full journey from rehearsals to live delivery, calling the complete show and keeping its many moving parts connected from the first cue to the last.
